Squirrel Earrings

This project explored electric discharge machining (EDM). Wire-cut tecniques was used to fabricate the copper/bronze earrings. The design was inspired by squirrels climbing trees on the campus.

The design is first prototyped with aluminium sheet metal. The final product is manufactured by a stack of copper and bronze sheet to save costs. They are polished to a hiailine finish.
